Lynea's Note: Grover is Zella's brother. In 1942, he and his wife Mae live in Sioux Falls with probably 5 of their 10 children. Sioux Falls is about 60 miles ESE of the Reifers home. Maybe "Pete" is a nickname for one of their 7 boys?

The Reifer's must have been very close with the Kopeke's for Annie to record their anniversary in her diary. What an odd thing for a 14 year old girl to do.
